The Point Seven Campaign - Leading the Way

This is a national movement. In short, we are average Canadians starting a campaign in line with the mandate set forth by Make Poverty History. We are calling on Canadians to donate 0.7% of their gross annual salary to organizations aimed at the eradication of extreme poverty to show our government it can be done, a commitment to date, they have failed to adhere to. Please stay tuned for our website and your chance to lead the way in Making Poverty History.

I met this boy in his village home in Wakiso, Uganda. He lives with his mother, who tries to provide for them to the best of her ability by managing a small plot of land. The mother has been abandoned by both her husband's and her own family. Both mother and child are HIV positive.
