The Point Seven Campaign - Leading the Way

This is a national movement. In short, we are average Canadians starting a campaign in line with the mandate set forth by Make Poverty History. We are calling on Canadians to donate 0.7% of their gross annual salary to organizations aimed at the eradication of extreme poverty to show our government it can be done, a commitment to date, they have failed to adhere to. Please stay tuned for our website and your chance to lead the way in Making Poverty History.

So it begins....

"When the end of poverty arrives, as it can and should in our own generation, it will be citizens in a million communities in rich and poor countries alike, rather than a handful of political leaders, who will have turned the tide." - Jeffrey D. Sachs, The End of Poverty
